Microsoft Frontpage can be used to publish and maintain your website on any of our web hosting packages. Please ensure that you have installed the Microsoft Frontpage extensions via your cPanel control panel and that you publish to (where is your domain name).

Do NOT upload via FTP when using Microsoft Frontpage as this WILL corrupt your account requiring a chargeable reset.

Frontpage Extensions are known to get easily corrupted and you may have to uninstall and then reinstall them via your cPanel control panel from time to time.

  • First ensure you have installed the "Frontpage Extensions" via your cPanel control panel.
(Occasionally, even if you have previously installed the FP Extensions they may stop working - it's worth trying to uninstall and then reinstall them)
  • Create your pages in a Frontpage. Please ensure that when you save your pages to your computer they have the extension .html or .htm and that your home/index/main page is called index.html or index.htm
  • The following "Publish Destination" box will appear:

Enter your "Publish Destination" as http://www.EXAMPLE.COM (where is your domain name) and then click OK
  • A box labelled "Enter Network Password" or "Enter Password" should then appear:

In the "User Name" box, your cPanel control panel username . In the password box, enter your password as used to login to the cPanel control panel.
